Opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is disappointed with the results of Bihar elections. Along with this, allegations are also being made continuously by Tejashwi Yadav’s party that the results have been ‘rigged’. In this sequence, RJD’s ex-post has released the data of ballot papers on three assembly seats and claimed that ballot papers were rejected as part of a conspiracy to defeat the opposition.

In fact, in this year’s Bihar Assembly elections, there were many seats where there was a close contest between the candidates. In Sandesh the Grand Alliance candidates lost by only 27 votes and in Agiaon by 95 votes. Regarding this, Tejashwi Yadav’s RJD is claiming that the postal ballot was deliberately rejected here. If all the ballots were counted, these seats would have been captured by the Grand Alliance candidate.

What’s in RJD’s ex post?

In Rashtriya Janata Dal’s ex-post it has been claimed that the Grand Alliance has been defeated on many seats due to ‘forced dishonesty’. The post reads, “Shocking figures of seats lost through forced dishonesty!
Nabinagar Assembly: lost by votes, postal votes were rejected
Agiaon Assembly: lost by votes, postal votes were rejected
“Sandesh Assembly: lost by votes, postal votes were rejected.”

The Election Commission has already rejected the allegation

This is not the first time that opposition parties have raised questions on the work of the Election Commission. Congress and other opposition parties of the Indian alliance have been continuously making allegations of ‘vote theft’. At the same time, an RJD leader had even said that during the voting in Bihar elections, 25 thousand votes were already cast in the EVMs.

Rejecting all these allegations, the Election Commission had informed that it is impossible for the votes to already be cast in the EVM. At the same time, it has been clearly stated by the Election Commission that whether it is Lok Sabha or Assembly elections, ECI works with transparency and by giving necessary information to all the political parties.
