In the first semi-final of Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025, Bangladesh A, batting first, scored 194 runs, although till 18 overs it seemed that the maximum this innings would reach would be 160 runs. But a lot of runs were scored on Naman Dheer in the 19th over and Vaishakh Vijay Kumar in the 20th over, due to which Bangladesh could reach this big total.

Opener Habibur Rahman Sohan scored the most runs for Bangladesh A in the semi-finals, he scored 65 runs in 46 balls with the help of 5 sixes and 3 fours. Along with Zeeshan Alam, he made a partnership of 43 runs for the first wicket. Mahrub Hasan, who scored 28 runs in the 19th over, scored unbeaten 48 runs in 18 balls, in this innings he hit 6 sixes.

Vaishakh, Ramandeep and Naman Dheer proved costly

Naman Dhir had given only 5 runs in the first over, but his economy (16.50) deteriorated after giving away 28 runs in the second over. He gave 33 runs in 2 overs. Vaishakh Vijay Kumar gave away 51 runs in 4 overs. Ramandeep Singh took 1 wicket for 29 runs in 2 overs.

Gurjapneet Singh took the most wickets, but he also gave runs at an economy of 9.75. He gave 39 runs in 2 overs.
