NEET PG counseling first round seat allotment result declared, will be able to report in college from this day

Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has released the provisional seat allotment result of the first round of NEET PG 2025 counselling. Candidates taking admission in postgraduate medical courses like MD and MS can now check their seat allotment status by visiting the official website mcc.nic.in.

How many candidates got seats?

A total of 26,889 candidates have been shortlisted in the first round of counselling. Those whose names appear in the allotment result will be required to report to their allotted college for the document verification process.

College reporting dates
Allotted candidates can report to their allotted college between November 23 to December 01, 2025. During this time the document verification process will have to be completed and college admission formalities will have to be completed. Failure to report on time may result in cancellation of the candidate’s seat.

Preparation for the second round
Candidates who are not shortlisted in the first round can register online for the second round of counselling. The registration process for this will run from December 02 to December 07, 2025. Apart from this, candidates can fill the choices of college and course of their choice between 03 December to 07 December. The second round seat allotment result will be released on December 10.

Know why it is important to report on time
MCC has clarified that the allotted candidates will have to complete the document verification and admission process in the college on time. If there is delay, the candidate’s seat may be canceled and he may not get a chance in the second round. Therefore, candidates should take full care of time.

• Available on the homepage ‘Round 1 allotment result’ Click on the link.
• After clicking on the link, the result will open on the screen in PDF format.
• After downloading the result, take a print out of it.
