On Thursday, streaming giant Netflix confirmed the OTT release date of ‘Chhava’ on his official Instagram handle. According to which this magnificent film will make digital debut on 11 April. Streaming veteran platform Netflix shared the poster of the film and wrote “Ale Raje Ale, witness the story of courage and pride in time. Look at Netflix on 11 April.”

Directed by Laxman Utekar, this historic action film is based on the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire. The film stars Sambhaji Maharaj’s iconic character Vicky Kaushal. In the film, Akshaye Khanna also plays the role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
‘Chhava’ is the highest grossing film of 2025
Chhava has grossed 790.14 crore rupees (US $ 92 million) worldwide and its collection in the domestic market is more than 600 crores. With this, it has become the highest grossing Indian film of 2025. Apart from this, the film’s tremendous box office performance has also given it the eighth position in the list of highest -grossing films in India so far. At the same time, it is on the thirteenth number of overall grossing Indian films.
