Dharmendra Passes Away At 89: Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra is no more in this world. The news of his demise on Monday put the entire film industry in deep mourning. Journey from dhaba to big restaurant
Dharmendra’s hospitality business was also quite successful. He-Man Restaurant — Launched in 2020 in Karnal, Haryana. Garam-Dharam Dhaba — Launched in 2015, with its first outlet in Connaught Place, Delhi. These restaurants have many branches across the country and this has been a major part of their brand expansion.
Production House and Real Estate
In 1983, Dharmendra started his own production house named Vijayata Films. This is the production house that launched his son Sunny Deol in the film industry. He has many flats, bungalows and other properties in Mumbai, from which his strong financial condition can be gauged. Apart from this, he also earned crores from advertisements and brand endorsements.
Dharmendra’s net worth
Dharmendra made his debut in 1960 with the film Dil Bhi Tera, Hum Bhi Tere, for which he got only Rs 51. After this, superhit films like Dharamveer, Sholay, Pratigya, Sita and Geeta made him the “He-Man” of Bollywood. According to media reports, his total wealth at the time of his death is said to be around Rs 500 crore.
