Veteran actor Dharmendra left this world on Monday at the age of 89. Bollywood is in mourning due to his demise. The last rites of the veteran actor were performed at the Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai. Many stars reached his funeral site. Throughout the night, many Bollywood celebrities kept reaching Dharmendra’s Juhu house to console the Deol family in this hour of grief.

Earlier, Shilpa Shetty, Kajol, Shamita Shetty and Raj Kundra went to Deol’s house and expressed their heartfelt condolences.

Amitabh Bachchan paid tribute to Dharmendra
After attending the funeral of Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan also paid tribute to the late actor by posting on social media. Both of them also worked together in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s iconic film ‘Chupke Chupke’. Big B wrote on his blog, “…another valiant legend has left us…gone from the arena…leaving behind him a silence with an unbearable sound…Dharam ji…simplicity. He brought with him the fragrance of the soil of the Punjab village from where he came, and remained true to its nature…remained spotless throughout his illustrious career, in a fraternity that saw changes every decade…changes in the fraternity…not in him.”

Shahrukh Khan paid emotional tribute to Dharmendra
Shahrukh Khan also came to bid farewell to Dharmendra. King Khan had a deep relationship with the veteran actor. Late on Monday night, the actor shared an old picture with the late actor on his Twitter handle and wrote a very personal and emotional message, Shah Rukh wrote, “May your soul rest in peace, Dharam ji.” He further wrote, “You were like a father to me… Thank you for the way you blessed and loved me. An irreparable loss not only to your family, but to cinema and film lovers around the world. Forever. Love you always.”

Dharmendra was one of the most favorite and popular stars of Hindi cinema. He was born in Punjab in 1935 and started his career in films in the early 1960s through a talent hunt competition. The late actor soon became one of the top stars due to his excellent personality and strong acting. He had given many blockbuster films in his career.
