Politics in Bihar has intensified after Jagadguru Rambhadracharya advocated abolition of the caste system. On Tuesday (November 25, 2025), MP Pappu Yadav said that we do not know who Rambhadracharya is. He said, “These blind, one-eyed, deaf, dumb people will be treated with Ambedkarite ideas. Ambedkar has already said that we are Vasudev Kutumb and Sanatan people. Not religious people.”
‘Prime Minister and Chief Minister should clarify the situation’
BJP minister Lakhendra Kumar has supported Rambhadracharya’s statement and said that caste division weakens the nation. On this, Congress leader Premchand Mishra said that Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar should first clarify the situation on such statements. The reservation and SC-ST Act has been given by the Constitution. Whoever tries to destroy it will himself be destroyed. The intentions of RSS and BJP against the deprived classes are clearly visible from such statements.

No one can touch reservation: JDU
Seeing the controversy increasing, JDU spokesperson Arvind Nishad distanced himself from the statement of the BJP quota minister and said that I do not know who says what. No one can touch the reservation. This country will run on the constitution given by Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar.
‘Atrocities on Dalits reduced due to SC-ST Act’
On the other hand, RJD spokesperson Ajaz Ahmed said that they want to commit atrocities on Dalits, extremely backward people and deprived people. Due to SC-ST Act, atrocities on Dalits have reduced. The statements of these people show what the RSS and BJP people think.
