Scooters have always been very popular in the Indian two-wheeler market. Youth, women and elderly people like these scooters which run easily without clutch and gear. The sales report for October 2025 has come out and this time too there was tremendous competition in the scooter market. Let us see how many scooters were sold and which model has been the first choice of the public.
Dominance of Activa and Jupiter
- Honda Activa once again maintained its dominance and proved to be the best selling scooter in October 2025. 3,26,551 units were sold this month, which is an increase of 22.39% compared to last year. Its share in total scooter sales was 44.29%. TVS Jupiter was at second place, with sales of 1,18,888 units. This is 8.37% more than last year and the market share was 16.13%.
Access sales decreased
- Suzuki Access remained at third place, but its sales declined. Its 70,327 units were sold in October 2025, whereas 74,813 units were sold last year. That means a decline of 6%. Whereas TVS Ntorq gave good performance and stood fourth with sales of 41,718 units. Its sales increased by 4.13%. Honda Dio also showed momentum and secured the fifth position with 36,340 units sold. Its sales increased by 9.53%.
Chetak and iQube
- Bajaj Chetak sales were very strong in October. Its 34,900 units were sold, which increased by 13.89% compared to last year. At the same time, TVS iQube also did not lag behind and its 31,989 units were sold. This shows an increase of 10.60%. Both the scooters made a strong inroads in the EV segment.
Great lead for Burgman, Destini 125 and RayZR
- Suzuki Burgman took the eighth position with sales of 27,058 units and saw a huge growth of 32.13% in its sales. Hero Destini 125 was at ninth place, whose sales reached 26,754 units with a record increase of 83.93%. Yamaha RayZR also performed better with 22,738 units sold and a growth of 23.23% compared to last year.
