Rabri Devi, wife of former Chief Minister of Bihar and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, has to vacate the government residence located at 10 Circular Road. Notice has been issued by the Building Construction Department. He has been given a second residence at 39 Harding Road. Meanwhile, politics is going on continuously. Meanwhile, BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh has also reacted.
While talking to the media on Wednesday (November 26, 2025), Giriraj Singh said on this issue, “There is a village saying, the joint gets burnt but the spasm does not go away. Does anyone get a bungalow? MLA, MP, Member of Legislative Council, Leader of Opposition, Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister get? This is a constitutional process. I think it is not right to insist on this.”
RJD against this decision
Even though Union Minister Giriraj Singh has said that this is a constitutional process, RJD is not ready to accept it. RJD state president Mangani Lal Mandal has said that the bungalow at 10 Circular Road, located just opposite One Anne Marg, the official residence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, will not be vacated under any circumstances. This decision shows the ill will of the ruling NDA towards our leader Lalu Prasad.
Even though politics is going on regarding Rabri’s residence located at 10 Circular Road, it is considered certain that he will have to vacate the house. Let us tell you that Lalu Yadav’s daughter Rohini Acharya has also spoken against this decision of the government. Now it remains to be seen what happens next.
‘…then there is no answer to madness’
On the other hand, journalists asked Giriraj Singh that Mamata Banerjee is saying that if BJP targets Bengal, we will shake the country. On this, the Union Minister said, “SIR will be implemented. SIR is a constitutional system, the voter list is purified. Therefore, it will happen. If they have accepted that Bangladesh has been made not Bengal and I (Mamata Banerjee) am the Prime Minister, then there is no answer to this madness.”
