Bollywood’s He-Man i.e. Dharmendra died on 24 November 2025. Today (27th November) Deol family had organized his prayer meet in Mumbai in which many big Bollywood celebrities participated. But Aamir Khan was to attend IFFI today. In such a situation, he could not attend Dharmendra’s prayer meet. But he paid tribute to He-Man while talking about him during a session at IFFI. During this, the superstar claimed that Dharmendra was very talented but he was underestimated.

According to ANI, Aamir Khan said in IFFI- ‘I have grown up watching him. He was known as an action hero and He-Man and was very adept at playing these powerful characters in action films. But I don’t know if people have noticed it or not, I think they’ve underestimated it. His acting in romance or different genres is amazing.

Aamir Khan further said- ‘He has done amazing work in comedy also. Oh God, he has done amazing comedy, romance and drama films. According to me, Dharam ji was exactly at the same level and was such a beautiful person. Today I was actually not in Bombay, but he had a prayer meeting. Unfortunately, I missed it. Aamir Khan further recalled the meeting of his son Azad and Dharmendra.

When Aamir made his son meet Dharmendra
The superstar said- ‘I often used to go and sit near him. One day I also took my son Azad along with me. I said that I want you to meet someone, because Azad has not seen much of his work. But he came with me and we spent a few hours with him and it was really nice. Dharam ji was not only a great actor but also a great human being. He was very gentle, he was like a gentle giant. He was a very loving person, no matter who he met, whether it was a colleague or someone from outside the industry, he always met people with great warmth and gentleness.

‘A huge loss for all of us’
Aamir Khan did not stop here, he again said- ‘Dharam ji was an institution, his Satyakam teaches us even today, he was a wonderful person, he was a great actor and this is a big loss for all of us. He had a very good command of his language. I mean, his Hindustani was very clear. It was very special to listen to him, even at live events when he spoke, he had an amazing grace.
