Shami’s team Bengal has defeated Gujarat by 3 wickets and Arjun’s team Goa has defeated Chandigarh by 52 runs.

Talking about Arjun Tendulkar, he plays for Goa in domestic cricket. Goa had scored 173 runs while playing first, Arjun Tendulkar opened, but was out after scoring 13 runs. When Chandigarh team came to chase the target, Arjun Tendulkar bowled 2 overs in his first bowling spell and took two wickets for just 5 runs. He bowled 4 overs in the entire match and took 3 wickets for just 17 runs.
Mohammed Shami improved his performance and took 2 wickets against Gujarat. While playing first, Gujarat team could not even play the full 20 overs and were limited to 127 runs. Mohammed Shami’s deadly bowling also contributed in doing this. He took 2 wickets for 31 runs in 3.3 overs. Earlier, Shami had also given strong performances in the first phase of Ranji Trophy matches. Now, by maintaining the rhythm in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy also, he has sent a message to the selectors. Bengal won over Gujarat by 3 wickets.
Kishan-Parag team won
Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan of Jharkhand and Riyan Parag could not score big for the Assam team, but their teams won their respective matches. Jharkhand defeated Karnataka by 2 wickets, on the other hand, Assam registered a 48-run win over Chhattisgarh. Kishan scored 15 runs and Parag also scored 15 runs in their respective matches.
