Big statement given on Rishabh Pant
Kapil Dev said that Rishabh Pant’s natural style is to hit, hence he cannot be asked to play boldly. He said, “Footwork is important in playing spin bowling. You cannot ask Rishabh Pant to play defending because he is a real match winner. He will only look to hit the ball, he is not the kind of batsman who can score 20 runs in 100 balls. When he hits a six, everyone goes crazy. Can you tell him not to hit sixes? He is such a batsman who can destroy the opposition team.”
