Actor Kader Khan is counted among the famous actors of Hindi cinema. Even though he is no more in the world, he is still alive in the hearts of people with his comedy and serious characters.

Friendship with Amitabh Bachchan proved costly
Kader Khan was a man of versatile talent, who could fit into every character, but due to not calling his own friend ‘Sir’, he had to look out of many films. That friend was none other than the megastar of the century, Amitabh Bachchan.
While expressing his pain in an interview, Kader Khan had said that he used to call Amitabh Bachchan Amit-Amit and this was the reason why he was removed from many films.
What is the whole matter?
In the interview, Kader Khan had said that ‘While shooting on the set, everyone used to call Amitabh Bachchan Sir and I used to call him only Amit. One day a southern producer asked me to meet Sir.
I understood right away who was Sir, then he pointed towards Amitabh and said why don’t you call Sir Sir. He further said that Amit is a friend to me and ‘Sir ji’ did not come out of my mouth, but I walked out of that film.
Kader Khan was fired from which film?
Expressing his pain, the actor said that how can anyone call his friend as “Sir” or by any other name and this was the reason why I did not have any relation with him and I was not cast in ‘Khuda Gawah’. Let us tell you that Kader Khan was talking about the film Khuda Gawah, in which earlier his role was finalized, but later he was removed from the film.
‘Khuda Gawah’ was the third highest grossing film of the year 1992. The budget of the film was Rs 5.7 crore and after its release the film made a huge collection of Rs 17.9 crore worldwide. Sridevi was signed opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the film.
