Grand alliance could not do anything special
In fact, in the recently held assembly elections, RJD, which was part of the grand alliance, contested 143 seats, but had to be content with only 25 seats. At the same time, Congress candidates could win only six seats. Apart from this, Mukesh Sahni Vikassheel Insaan Party, included in the Grand Alliance, could not win even a single seat.
The search for the reasons for the defeat continues
After the election results, review meetings started among all the parties, in which the reasons for the defeat are being sought. While RJD is holding a divisional-wise meeting in Patna to find out the reasons for the poor performance, Congress leaders are holding a review meeting in Delhi.
Will Congress adopt the go-it-alone policy?
It is being told that in the review meeting of Congress held in Delhi, many leaders emphasized on adopting the policy of “walk alone” and strengthening the organization. At the same time, many leaders also blamed friendly conflict in the elections.
RJD took a jibe at Congress
Meanwhile, RJD leaders are taunting about breaking the alliance with Congress and saying “let’s go alone”. RJD’s Bihar state president Mangani Lal Mandal said that whatever seats Congress has won in this election or whatever votes it has got, it has been because of RJD.
He said that RJD has its support base in Bihar, Congress also knows this. However, he also said that it is too early to say much. However, if someone wants to walk alone, he cannot be stopped.
Regarding strengthening the Congress organization, the RJD President said that this is a good thing. Congress has analyzed its strength. It is noteworthy that after the assembly elections, the assembly session is starting from Monday, in which all the new MLAs will be sworn in.
