In the last week of November, Bollywood lovers got to see not one but two love stories on the big screen, ‘Gustakh Ishq’ and ‘Tere Ishq Mein’. While the former brings old-world charm and is about romance, poetry and nostalgia, the latter is about a broken lover who becomes dangerous because of his pain.
Now talking about their box office performance, Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ is dominating the box office. Whereas ‘Gustakh Ishq’ starring Vijay Verma and Fatima Sana Shaikh has been struggling since the first day, and on Monday it died at the box office. How much did ‘Gustak Ishq’ collect on the fourth day?
‘Gustakh Ishq’ could not win the hearts of the audience and the film was seen struggling for earnings at the box office from the very first day of its release. Its very beginning was very cold. After this, instead of increasing, there was a decline in the earnings of this film in the weekend also. Now, ‘Gustak Ishq’ has failed miserably in the first Monday test.
Talking about the collection of the film, it opened with Rs 50 lakh on the first day on Friday and earned Rs 45 lakh and Rs 35 lakh on Saturday and Sunday in the domestic market.
- According to the initial estimates of Saknilk, ‘Gustak Ishq’ has earned only Rs 0.06 crore on Monday i.e. on the fourth day. This is the lowest earning of this film since its launch on November 28, 2025.
- With this, the total collection of four days of ‘Gustakh Ishq’ is now Rs 1.36 crore nett.
‘Gustak Ishq’ badly beaten
‘Gustakh Ishq’ has failed at the box office within four days of its release. According to the report of Bollywood Life, this film has been made on a budget of Rs 25 crores and the shocking thing is that even after four days it has not been able to touch the figure of Rs 2 crores. It is clear that this film has failed badly at the box office.
About ‘Gustak Ishq’
Fashion designer Manish Malhotra is also one of the producers in ‘Gustakh Ishq’ produced by Stage5 Productions. The screenplay has been written jointly by Vibhu Puri and Prashant Jha, while the music has been composed by the ever famous Vishal Bhardwaj, which gives a lyrical touch to the story. The story is about a boy, played by Vijay Verma, who is trying to save his father’s failing printing press. To find a solution, he seeks out a lonely poet, played by the legendary Naseeruddin Shah, in the hopes that the poet’s words can help him change things. Fatima Sana Shaikh plays the role of a poet’s daughter, which is an emotional part of the story as the film deals with the difficult relationship between love, loss and creativity.
