Just as the patient has rights, he also has some responsibilities.
- Giving correct and complete information about your health condition – Do not hide information related to illness, medications and medical history.
- Providing correct address, name and other important details – wrong information can hinder treatment.
- It is important to follow the advice related to treatment – medicines, diet, tests, whatever instructions are given.
- Respecting the hospital staff- The doctors and staff are there to help you, behave politely with them.
- Understand the need to give priority to emergency patients
- Follow the rules of the hospital – like no smoking, visiting hours, use of mobile phone etc.
- Fulfilling financial obligations related to treatment on time
- Giving informed consent to any procedure
- Do not give medicines to others and do not take anyone’s medicine yourself.
- Provide accurate and complete information for insurance claim
- Take your appointment on time and inform us immediately in case you are unable to come.
- If any problem or condition worsens, inform the hospital immediately
- Make follow-up visits on time
- Do not start any medication without doctor’s advice
- Maintain a safe environment for other patients and staff through your behavior
