Even before the beginning of the new year, a big good news has emerged for the youth of Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the much awaited notification for Polytechnic Lecturer Recruitment 2025-26. Through this recruitment, a total of 513 posts will be filled in engineering, technical, architecture and non-engineering subjects.
In the notification issued by the Commission, it has been clarified that this time the application process will be completely online and candidates will be able to apply from December 2, 2025 to January 2, 2026. The relief for those candidates who make any mistake while filling the form is that the correction window will remain open till January 9, 2026. This recruitment was pending for a long time, hence as soon as it was announced, the enthusiasm among the candidates has increased and many youth have made up their mind to take the preparation to the final stage.
The eligibility to apply for this recruitment of UPPSC has been kept different according to the subject. For engineering and technical subjects, the candidate must have first class BE, B.Tech or BS degree in the relevant branch. At the same time, for candidates who are not from engineering, it is mandatory for them to have first class graduation and post graduation degree in the relevant subject. For non-engineering subjects, the Commission has set the condition of master’s degree.
Candidates should have first class Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and other non-engineering subjects. For Architecture subject, four years first class degree in B.Arch or related field will be considered. It is clear that this time the Commission has not taken any laxity regarding the eligibility and only the qualified candidates will get the chance.
how much is the application fee
The application fee has also been fixed differently according to the category. Unreserved, Other Backward Class and Economically Weaker Section candidates will have to deposit Rs 225. The fee for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe has been kept at Rs 105, while for the disabled it is only Rs 25. Ex-servicemen will also have to pay a fee of Rs 105. Fee payment will be done through online mode only, which makes the application process easier.
This is how the selection will be done
The selection process will be multi-tier. First of all, the candidates will have to give written examination, which will include two papers, first of General Hindi and General Studies and second of subject-specific paper. A total of 750 marks have been allotted for 250 questions and negative marking will also be applicable for wrong answers in the exam. Candidates who qualify the examination will be called for interview, where their subject knowledge, self-confidence and communication skills will be tested. Document verification will be the final stage after the interview. Appointment will be given only if all the documents are found correct.
How much salary will you get?
Talking about salary, the initial salary will be between Rs 56,100 to Rs 57,700. Apart from this, dearness allowance, house rent allowance and other government facilities will also be included.
How to apply?
It is very easy to apply. Candidates must first visit the official website of UPPSC uppsc.up.nic.in. Here you will have to register by clicking on “New Registration” and after filling the basic information, you will get the user ID and password. After logging in, the application form will open, in which personal details, educational information and other important details will have to be filled. Along with this, passport size photo, signature and necessary documents will have to be scanned and uploaded. After filling all the information and paying the fee, the form has to be submitted. Once the form is submitted, candidates are advised to download and keep a copy of it for future reference.
