A BPSC teacher was shot dead in Bihar’s Araria district while she was going to school on a scooter. The deceased teacher has been identified as Shivani Verma, a resident of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. Shivani was 27-28 years old and was living in a rented house in Araria. People present nearby told that two masked miscreants came next to their scooter and shot Shivani on her temple.
Shivani Verma, who was driving the scooter, fell down as soon as the bullet hit her. The people present there took him to Araria District Hospital, but he could not be saved. Doctors declared Shivani dead.
The motive for the murder has not been revealed yet
Shivani Verma was a teacher in a school located in Narpatganj in Araria district. On Wednesday (December 3) at around 8.30 pm, when she was going from Forbesganj to Narpatganj school, miscreants shot her dead on the way. The reasons for the murder have not been revealed yet. At present, the police is investigating the matter and will issue an official statement after collecting some information.
The miscreants ran away after shooting
People present at the spot at the time of the incident said that they saw Shivani falling from the scooter. She was lying soaked in blood on the road. Two people immediately loaded her in the car and took her to the hospital, but Shivani was declared dead by the doctors. After shooting, the miscreants fled on the same bike.
It is being told that Shivani had joined Araria school as a employed teacher only a few months ago. After the incident, sensation has spread in the entire area. Police are present at the scene and are trying to collect evidence. Efforts have also been made to contact Shivani’s family. At present, the police has not given any information in this matter. A statement is expected soon after the investigation.
