On the announcement of Congress to fight alone in the Panchayat elections to be held in the next few months in Uttar Pradesh, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya in the state government taunted and said that it is their problem whether Congress should fight alone or in collaboration with someone. Only lotus will bloom in the state. Keshav Prasad Maurya had reached Prayagraj today as part of the party’s SIR campaign.

Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, while reacting to Akhilesh Yadav’s statement, said that his mental health has deteriorated ever since he returned from Bihar elections. Along with this, he appealed to the BLOs not to fall prey to any rumour.

Sharp attack on Akhilesh Yadav

Responding to the recent statements of Samajwadi Party chief President Akhilesh Yadav, the Deputy CM said that Akhilesh Yadav has been unwell ever since he returned from Bihar elections. His mental balance also seems to have deteriorated. He was seeing himself close to power in 2027, but now there is no possibility of returning to power even by 2047. Due to this frustration, he is blabbering indiscriminately.

Akhilesh Yadav had recently said that if there is no right to vote, then reservation should also be abolished. Maurya also took a dig at this statement and said that neither anyone will be able to end reservation, nor anyone will be able to change the Constitution. This is just an attempt to spread confusion and rumours.

While launching SIR (Special Voter List Purification Campaign) in Prayagraj, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that BJP is the biggest party in the country and state. The aim is that not even a single eligible voter is left out.

Responding to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s demand for immediate closure of SIR and the opposition’s opposition, Keshav Maurya said, “I would tell all the BLO brothers and sisters, neither get into the trap of Mamata Banerjee, nor of Rahul Gandhi, nor of Akhilesh Yadav. Do not get influenced by the words of those who oppose SIR. Perform your duty honestly.” He further said, “Suicide is not the solution to any problem”.
