A shoe was thrown at Aam Aadmi Party MLA Gopal Italia. A conference was being held in the context of Gujarat Jodo Yatra. The people present beat up the person who threw the shoe. The shoe was thrown during the address of MLA Gopal Italia. On this incident, AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal targeted Congress and BJP.

Arvind Kejriwal said in X Post, “The increasing popularity of AAP in Gujarat has shaken both BJP and Congress. We raise questions on the failures of BJP, but Congress is feeling the pain… Why? In Jamnagar, our popular leader and MLA Gopal Italy ji was attacked by Congress workers. This attack clearly shows that BJP-Congress are now fighting unitedly against AAP in Gujarat.”

The AAP leader further said, “But both the parties should listen. AAP leaders are neither afraid nor bow down. The people of Gujarat have now made up their mind for change by moving towards AAP, and this is the reason for the nervousness of both these parties.”

Gopal Italia said, “I do not want to file an FIR against the person who attacked me during the public meeting in Jamnagar today. I forgive that person from my heart and pray that God keeps that person and his family happy. Jai Kisan.”
AAP leader Durgesh Pathak said, “Gopal Italia speaks against BJP, but Congress is irritated. If you fight BJP, Congress attacks. What is the relationship between these two?”
AAP leader Manoj Sorathiya also targeted Congress and BJP. He said, “Gopal Italia is a strong voice against BJP. If he speaks against BJP’s wrong policies then what problem does Congress have? If you fight against BJP then Congress gets attacked. What is this relationship between BJP and Congress called?”
