1. In love with you
This film starring Kriti Sanon and Dhanush was released in theaters on 28 November. There was a lot of hype about the film but no one thought that it would do wonders. According to the report of Saknilk, this intense love story has collected Rs 83.65 crore in one week. 
2. Sayara
No one had expected Mohit Suri’s romantic musical drama to perform so well. But the sizzling chemistry of Aneet Padda and Ahaan Pandey impressed the audience a lot and the film earned more than Rs 500 crore worldwide. Its collection at the Indian box office was Rs 329.2 crore. 
3. Loka Chapter 1: Chandra
This film of Kalyani Priyadarshan was made on a very low budget. The film was released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages and earned a lot of love across the country. Even the makers did not expect that the film would be included in the list of highest grossers of this year. According to Scanlink, this film became a Pan India blockbuster by earning Rs 156.82 crores. 
4. Dragon
The name of South Indian film is also registered at the next number in this list. Pradeep Ranganathan and Anupama Parameswaram starrer this film was released in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. Due to the tremendous story and star cast, it was successful in winning the hearts of the people and also joined the 100 crore club. 
5. Jat
This big budget film of Sunny Deol is also included in the list of highest grossing movies of this year. The story and powerful action sequences of the film entertained the audience a lot. The film earned Rs 88.26 crore at the Indian box office, while it did a business of Rs 118.36 crore worldwide. 
6. Shadow
Vicky Kaushal started 2025 with a bang with this historical action masterpiece. The strong performance of the entire star cast made the film a hit across the world. According to Scanlink, this big budget film collected Rs 601.54 crore. 
7. Mahavatar Narasimha
No one expected this animated film of Ashwin Kumar to create havoc at the box office. Powerful visuals and tremendous storytelling technique won the hearts of the audience. The film created a new record in the history of Indian animation and earned Rs 250.29 crore at the box office. 
8. Sankrantiki Vasthanam
This Telugu action comedy film took full advantage of strong word-of-mouth. The film was released only in Telugu language but the makers made more profits than expected. According to Sacknilk, the film did a business of Rs 186.7 crore at the box office.
