Masoom Sharma clarified that he does not have any party of his own, rather his thinking is related to the ideology of nationalism.
He said that he neither has any special love for any party nor any personal problem. He believes that the job of an artist is to remain connected to the society, and not to limit oneself within any political framework. In this sequence, he also said that his idol in politics is Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, whose working style and decision-making ability he is impressed by.

He said that he is elderly and at this stage of age it is natural to sometimes speak outrightly. Masoom Sharma said that programs should continue and there should be no restrictions on artistes, but real restrictions should be imposed on those serious issues on which the government needs to work more. He said that he does not feel any opposition, although some people may definitely criticize.
