Lord Vishnu 10th incarnation curse story: We all know that Lord Vishnu has 10 incarnations, which include Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vaman, Parashuram, Rama, Krishna, Buddha and the last incarnation is Kalki. Have you ever wondered why Lord Vishnu incarnated again and again? Had he placed a curse on himself? Or is there some deep secret hidden behind it? Let us know about it.
Lord Vishnu says in holy religious texts,
“Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya Glanirbhavati Bharat. Abhyutthanam Dharmasya Tadatmanam Srijamyham. Tra Parinay Sadhunam Vinashaya Cha Dushkritam Dharmasam Sthanaarthay Sambhavanami Yuge Yuge.”
How true is the story of the curse behind the incarnation of Lord Vishnu!
There are many folk tales related to the Dashavatars of Lord Vishnu, in which they were cursed for various reasons. The most important among these was the curse of Maharishi Bhrigu, due to which he had to endure many kinds of troubles by being born on earth, and that is the reason, he took human incarnations like Ram and Krishna, in which he had to suffer separation from his wife (Sita) and many kinds of worldly sorrows. It was due to the curse of Vrinda that Ram had to face the separation of Sita.

Lord Vishnu says that, whenever there is decline of Dharma and rule of Adharma, I incarnate and appear to protect the good people, destroy the wicked and establish Dharma. The most important thing is that there is no story of compulsion or curse behind the birth of Vishnu?
Rather, incarnating is their own priority because it is necessary for them to incarnate for the order of the world and the establishment of religion.
Why did Lord Vishnu take only ten incarnations and not more or less? First of all, one reason for this is that the number ten is the number of completeness. In Indian thought ten usually represents a circle, a symbol of a complete map. If we look at the stages of incarnation, first from a fish to a turtle, then to a boar, then to a half lion, to a human warrior and a politician, the incarnation of Lord Shri Vishnu not only depicts existence but also depicts many emotions related to sorrow, challenge, responsibility and consciousness.
If one talks about the curse theory for the repeated incarnations of Vishnu, then it would not be wrong to say that the curse itself is the downfall of religion. When moral behavior begins to end, greed, cruelty, selfishness and duty are destroyed, then every person’s life is affected.
What message does each incarnation of Vishnu convey?
Every incarnation of Vishnu gives some message in life-
Matsya (Fish)- It is time to wake up from inertia, awakening to the knowledge of life and inner strength.
Tortoise- When things in life are full of turmoil, it is very important to steady yourself.
Varaha (Boar)- You dive into the depths where personal failure and degradation of moral values occur? But you wish to get back the lost things.
Narsingh- Things are quite complex; the situation cannot be handled in its old form; you will have to give birth to a new form with your intellectual capacity.
Vaman (Dwarf Brahmin)- Humility always wins. Arrogance leads to downfall.
Parshuram (warrior sage)- When the system breaks down, it is necessary to fight for renewal of the system.
Ram and Krishna- One should always not forget one’s sense of duty, knowledge and dedication.
Buddha/Balram- The introvert who knows liberation, renouncing forms and compassion.
Kalki (future warrior)- The last change is that the old will collapse and only then will the new emerge. Not only for any individual but for the entire world.
