When will 3 Apache helicopters be delivered to India? The date has come, Pakistan will tremble!

The air power of the army is going to increase. America will soon deliver three AH-64E Apache helicopters to India. This will be the last batch of the Apache fleet. With this, the fleet of 6 units of 451 Army Aviation Squadron in Jodhpur will be completed. The deployment of these helicopters started in February 2020. The objective behind this is to increase the operational capabilities on the western border of Pakistan. In July this year, three Apaches were delivered at Hindon Airbase in Ghaziabad. These were brought by Antonov cargo plane of the Soviet Union.

By what name is Apache known?

According to India Today report, Apache helicopters will be delivered to India this month and will be included in the army fleet. Apache helicopter, known as flying tank due to its lethal capabilities, is considered the most special across the world due to its advanced multi-role combat capability. It has been prepared in Mesa, Arizona, America. It is an important part of the US Army’s attack fleet. Many allies including India use it. It is claimed that the Apache helicopter not only increases firepower but also provides better control in air battles.

Apache is equipped with 26 advanced helicopter technology

This helicopter includes 26 advanced technologies. This includes improved digital connectivity, Joint Tactical Information Distribution System, more powerful T700-GE-701D engine, improved rotor blades and the ability to control unmanned aerial vehicles in real time. So far, 400 helicopters of AH-64E series have been delivered. Till now, the helicopter fleet included in the US Army has flown more than 4.5 million hours.

IAF has 22 Apache helicopters

The Indian Air Force currently operates 22 Apaches. Through these, air defense and deep strike missions are accomplished. Here the Indian Army will use this fleet during air support, tank busting and armored combat. But once again the debate has flared up in which the role of the Air Force and the Army is decided regarding the control of attack helicopters.

156 Prachanda helicopters will also join the fleet soon

Apart from Apache, the Defense Ministry has signed a contract with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in March for 156 Prachanda helicopters. These will be delivered in the next five years. Prachanda has been designed for the Himalayan borders with China. It has stealth capabilities, armor and advanced night attack system.
