Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty starrer film ‘Border 2’ is one of the much awaited and first big release films of the year 2026. Before the film hits the theatres, the makers have released a patriotic teaser of ‘Border 2’ on the occasion of Vijay Diwas on 16th December.
By releasing the teaser of ‘Border 2’ on the occasion of this historic day commemorating India’s victory in the 1971 war, the makers have paid a nationwide tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. The teaser of ‘Border 2’ is tremendous. In this, people have become excited to see Sunny Deol again in the battlefield to fight Pakistan brick by brick.
Border 2 teaser released
Sunny Deol is seen in a powerful style in the first teaser of Border 2. After releasing the look poster of the lead star cast, the makers have released a tremendous teaser. At the beginning of the teaser, 1971 India-Pakistan War is seen written on the screen. After this, war sirens are heard ringing. And then Sunny Deol’s voice is heard. Sunny Deol is heard saying that wherever you try to enter from, from the sky to the land to the sea, you will find an Indian soldier standing in front of you, who will look you in the eyes and thump his chest and say, if you have the courage, here stands India.
During this, glimpses of the characters of Varun, Diljit and Ahan Shetty are also shown and at the end Sunny Deol is seen firing a shell with a gun in his hand. While boosting the morale of his army, Sunny is seen challenging how far should the voice go and then the army says till Lahore… and then from the sea to the sky and living on the ground, Indian soldiers are seen breaking the enemy country brick by brick. Overall, the teaser of Border 2 is amazing and after seeing the first glimpse of the film, the fans have become more excited about it.
Varun Dhawan had released a new poster of the film
Earlier, while sharing the new poster of Border 2 on his Instagram profile, Varun Dhawan wrote, ‘The excitement of Vijay Diwas, memories of the victory of 1971, and the grandest teaser launch of the year – together! The teaser of Border 2 will release on 16th December at 1:30 pm IST. Will be released in theaters on 23 January 2026.
In the new poster of the film, the four lead actors Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty are seen in army uniform. There is a lot of excitement among the audience due to the release of posters of different characters.
When will ‘Border 2’ be released?
‘Border 2’ is the sequel to the 1997 blockbuster film ‘Border’. Sunny Deol will be seen in a Sikh character in this film. Diljit Dosanjh’s character is based on Indian Air Force wing commander and Param Vir Chakra winner Nirmal Jeet Singh Sekhon. Varun Dhawan’s character is inspired by Indian Army’s Paramvir Chakra winner Colonel Hoshiar Singh Dahiya. ‘Border 2’ will be released in theaters on 23 January 2026.
Border 2 is the sequel of Border
The film is a sequel to the 1997 film Border. Directed by JP Dutta, Border was based on the Battle of Longewala during the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Sunny Deol was also a part of the first film. This time the rest of the actors are new. Nothing has been revealed yet about the story of Border 2, but the audience is eagerly waiting for the film.
Messages arrive will be recreated
The popular song ‘Sandesh Aate Hain’ from the film Border will be recreated in Border 2. There are rumors that this time ‘Sandesh Aate Hai’ will be sung by Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Diljit Dosanjh and Vishal Mishra while Mithun is composing the music, it remains to be seen when the filmmakers will release the song after the teaser.
