Bihar encounter: In Bihar, there has been an encounter between police and criminals once again. The whole matter is of Araria. On Friday (March 21, 2025), there was an encounter between police and miscreants in Narpatganj police station area. Patna STF and local police laid siege near Thalha Canal. During this, firing started from both sides. In this incident, the accused of robbery and crook Chunmun Jha was injured by a police bullet. He has got three bullets by mixing in legs and chests. He fell as soon as the bullet hit. After this, the police caught him.
In a hurry, he was brought to Araria Sadar Hospital in an injured state. During the shootout, a companion escaped his. He is also shot in his leg. It is being told that Chunmun Jha, a resident of Majlispur in Palasi police station area, is the mastermind of many looteds. Police had received information that he was hiding in Narpatganj along with his gang. Patna STF team reached Araria to catch. When the team reached the Thalha canal with the help of the local police, the miscreants started firing. Retaliation was also taken by the police.
Five soldiers also injured in the incident
In this encounter, Narpatganj’s Thanedar Kumar Vikas and STF personnel Mo. Mushtaq, driver Nagesh (STF), JC Shahabuddin (STF) and JC Deepak Shah (STF) have been injured. Local Mehnaz Parveen and Ajmun Khatoon have also been hurt. ASP Rampukar Singh took the front on behalf of Araria police.
It is said that this Chunmun Jha is accused in Purnia and Ara Tanishq Loot Kand. The incident has been confirmed by the police. Statements are yet to come.
