Yogi government has given a big gift to the youth preparing for government jobs in UP before the New Year. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission i.e. UPSSSC is going to recruit accountants on a large scale. On Tuesday, the Commission has issued an advertisement in this regard.
UPSSSC has released the recruitment notification for 7994 accountant posts in the Revenue Department yesterday. Online applications for this recruitment will be taken from 29th December and the last date for submission of forms has been declared as 28th January. This can be amended till 4th February. The application fee is Rs 25 for all categories.
For the posts of Accountant, candidates will have to submit their applications through the official website of the Commission, upsssc.gov.in. The Commission has already made it clear that only those candidates will be eligible for Lekhpal recruitment who have participated in the PET-2025 examination. This recruitment will be done on the basis of marks of Preliminary Qualification Examination-2025.
Age limit for accountant posts
Out of total 7994 posts of Lekhpal, 4165 posts are unreserved. 1446 posts have been kept for Scheduled Caste, 150 for Scheduled Tribe, 1441 for Other Backward Class and 792 posts for EWS. The age limit for recruitment has been fixed at 18 to 40 years. People belonging to SC/ST and other categories will be given age relaxation as per rules. Candidates availing the benefit of reservation will have to provide relevant documents.
Educational Qualification and other qualifications
To apply for the post of Lekhpal, intermediate or equivalent educational qualification of the candidates is required and under preferential qualification, minimum two years of service in Territorial Army and B certificate of National Cadet Corps (NCC) will have to be given.
For this, a written examination will have to be given which will be of 100 marks. Hundred multiple choice questions will be given in this. The total exam time will be two hours and negative marking will also be done. The Commission has instructed the candidates to read all the terms and conditions properly before applying.
