This video explains in detail the ongoing Elvish Yadav Donation Controversy on social media, in which allegations of donation scam related to YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav, Comedian Munawar Faruqui and an NGO came to light. The matter started when Elvish Yadav shared a video appealing for help for injection of ₹9 crore for the treatment of a child suffering from a serious disease like SMA. After this, Munawar Faruqui, without naming him, accused some NGOs and agencies of paying money to celebrities for emotional content, due to which people started doubting Elvish’s video.
As the controversy escalated, Elvish Yadav released a clarification video saying that he did not take any fees and had shared the video only after verifying all the medical documents and reports. JJ Communication also claimed transparency by showing documents, fund details and live account. This whole matter raises a big debate on online crowdfunding, influencer responsibility and NGO trust.
