There is big and important news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Gujarat. Gujarat Police Recruitment Board has informed that the last date of application for Police Sub Inspector (PSI) and Constable Recruitment Examination 2025 is nearing. Candidates who were waiting for this recruitment for a long time now have very little time left to apply. Interested candidates can apply online till 23 December 2025.
The application process for Gujarat Police Recruitment has been kept completely online. Candidates will have to apply by visiting the official website of Gujarat Government ojas.gujarat.gov.in. The board has made it clear that no application will be accepted after the last date, hence it is important to fill the form on time.
How many posts in PSI cadre
- A total of 858 posts will be recruited under Police Sub Inspector cadre. It includes posts of different categories.
- 659 posts of Un-Armed Police Sub Inspector have been kept.
- 129 posts have been fixed for Armed Police Sub Inspector.
- Apart from this, 70 posts of Jailer Group-2 are also included in the jail department.
Bumper recruitment in constable cadre
This time a large number of recruitments are being done in the constable cadre. Candidates will be selected on a total of 12,733 posts. There are 6,942 posts of Un-Armed Police Constable. 2,458 posts of Armed Police Sub Constable have been kept. There are 3,002 posts for Armed Police Sub Constable (SRPF). 300 posts of male jail constable and 31 posts of female jail constable i.e. matron have been included.
What should be the educational qualification?
Educational qualification has been decided according to the post in Gujarat Police Recruitment. For the post of Police Sub Inspector, it is necessary for the candidate to have passed graduation from a recognized university.
Whereas for the post of constable, it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed 12th. The board has made it clear that while applying, the candidate will have to upload all the documents related to his qualifications correctly.
age limit
The minimum age for this recruitment has been fixed at 18 years. The maximum age limit has been kept at 33 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in maximum age as per government rules. Age will be calculated on the basis of fixed cut-off date.
How will the selection process happen?
The selection process of Gujarat Police Recruitment will be completed in several phases. First of all the candidates will have to go through Physical Efficiency Test i.e. PET and Physical Measurement Test i.e. PST.
After this a written examination will be conducted. The documents of the candidates successful in the written examination will be scrutinized. Final selection will be made to the candidates who successfully complete all the stages.
How much salary will you get?
Selected candidates will be given attractive salary. If selected for the post of Police Sub Inspector, candidates will get a salary ranging from Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300 per month. At the same time, the pay scale for the post of constable has been fixed from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month.
