There is a 5-year partnership between Qatar Museums and Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC). Through this, not only the focus will be on the education of children in both the countries, but emphasis will also be given on the training of teachers. This agreement was signed by Her Highness Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums (QM) and Isha Ambani of Reliance Industries in Doha on December 21, 2025.
Children will learn new things while playing
Under this partnership, both will together launch a series of museum-in-residence educational programs aimed at exposing children to fun, museum-based learning experiences. Through this, teachers and volunteers will also be taught new tools and methods, which will promote innovation and creativity in the classroom and children will learn something new beyond the books.
Museum-in-residence educational programs will be started in both the countries. In this, the education experience of Qatar Museum and the multidisciplinary cultural platform of NMACC will be used. Through this, focus on children’s education will be increased. Besides, teacher training and community engagement will also be supported through this initiative.
Creativity and innovation will get a boost
Talking about this partnership, Sheikha Al Mayasa said that this partnership will promote creativity and will also lead to cross-cultural exchange. That means that both the countries will be taught about each other’s place, new innovations and technologies. Qatar Museums and NMACC believe that creativity and cultural exchange are vital to shaping a new generation of confident, empathetic young learners, he said.
Children will learn through play
Under this partnership, experts from Children’s Museum of Qatar, Dadu in Qatar will give masterclasses and hands-on training in schools in India. This training program will be adapted to different locations and their needs. Maha Al Hajri, acting director of Dadu, the children’s museum in Qatar, said, through this partnership, the ‘Light Aria’ program from here will be brought to India. This is such a learning model, through which children are trained in many important things while playing. These programs will be implemented in schools, Anganwadis and community centers across India, including rural and backward areas.
Al Hajri added, “The Light Atelier, designed for children aged three to seven, creates an immersive, hands-on learning environment that reflects Dadu’s commitment to learning through play. As part of our ‘learning through play’ philosophy, this Museum in Residence program allows us to bring Dadu’s approach outside the museum and engage with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural “It provides an opportunity for meaningful cultural exchange with partners like the Centre.”
