Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today Friday (26 December) participated in the ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ program organized in memory of the sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the Kirtan Samagam program organized on the 350th martyrdom year of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. He said that the tradition established by the Sikh Gurus of sacrificing everything for the country and the religion is the path to our progress.
During this, CM Yogi said, who is such an Indian who does not express his gratitude towards Guru Teg Bahadur Ji Maharaj, towards Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, towards brother Satidas ji, towards brother Matidas ji, towards sister-in-law Dayala, towards Baba Ajit Singh, towards Baba Jujhar Singh ji, towards Baba Zorawar Singh and towards Baba Fateh Singh ji. If he is a true Indian, he definitely expresses his gratitude and pays respect to them. CM Yogi said, but the evil Aurangzeb who challenged Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, who considered Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji only a common man, who considered Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj only a common man, it was his mistake.
CM Yogi said that remember today, in 140 crore India and wherever in the world a follower of Sanatan Dharma lives or a Sikh lives, he must be expressing his gratitude to Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, to Guru Te Bahadur Ji Maharaj, to Guru Nanak Dev Ji, to these sacrifices, but even in his own community, no one is able to take the name of evil Aurangzeb, no one is able to take his name.
No one will light a lamp on the grave – CM Yogi
CM Yogi said that remember, Aurangzeb used to call himself the king, he used to call himself the king of India. Today someone is going to ask, where is his grave? No one knows, no one to light a lamp, no one to pant, no one to ask, in what condition has he died? In what condition was he born? Where is his grave? No one to ask.
Sacrifice was for country and religion- CM Yogi
CM Yogi said that after all Jahangir had shown so much brutality towards Guru Arjun Dev. This tradition of sacrifice starts from there, even after this they continued to struggle equally. What kind of atrocities were committed against the Guru of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Maharaj? That is, the person whom he himself brought up, that orphan heretic, betrayed him but he could not walk in front of Guru Teg Bahadur, despite all that, the sacrifice of these Gurus was not for themselves, their sisters and brothers. Wasn’t for his family. It was for the country, it was for religion and we all gather here to express our gratitude for his contribution to the country and religion.
