Giving information to ABP News, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Vishwa Bhushan Mishra said that – compared to normal days, at this time more number of devotees are reaching Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple for darshan, as always, special attention has been paid to the arrangements of each devotee in the complex. Therefore, in view of the crowd on the occasion of New Year, all special facilities and Baba’s Sparsh Darshan will be banned till January 2. On the number of devotees coming in the year 2025, the Chief Executive Officer said that the maximum number of devotees reached Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the Mahakumbh and in the entire year 2025, 7.25 crore devotees have visited the temple, which is the highest in a year.
Estimated arrival of 7 lakh devotees
Earlier too, on the occasion of New Year, a large number of devotees had reached Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple to have darshan. There has been an increase in religious tourism year after year and this time the temple administration has estimated that more than 7 lakh devotees can reach the temple on New Year to seek the blessings of Baba Vishwanath.
