After the success of Dhurandhar, the news of Akshaye Khanna’s exit from Drishyam 3 intensified. Producer of the film Kumar Mangat Pathak made it clear that Akshay has been replaced from the film and now Jaideep Ahlawat will be seen in his place.
According to the producer, despite the contract and fees being finalised, Akshaye demanded to wear a wig in the film, which was against the continuity of the story. After first agreeing, he suddenly left the film, that too just 10 days before the shoot.
After this the producer raised questions on Akshaye’s professionalism and said that Drishyam is a brand, which is not dependent on any one actor. A legal notice has also been sent to Akshay in the matter.
