Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir’s daughter got married to her own brother’s son Abdul Rehman on 26 December 2025. The wedding ceremony took place in Rawalpindi, which was attended by the country’s top political leaders and military officers. This ceremony was kept confidential and no photographs of it have been released.

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, ISI Chief and other members of the Pakistani Army like retired generals attended the wedding of Munir’s daughter. Pakistani journalist Zahid Gishkori released a video on social media platform X and said that Munir has got his daughter married to Abdul Rehman, son of his brother Qasim Munir.
Munir’s son-in-law is the assistant commissioner.
Pakistani journalist Zahid Gishkori told, ‘Aseem Munir has four daughters and this was the marriage of his third daughter. Earlier he was a captain in the army, but later he joined civil services. Munir’s daughter’s name is Mahnur. Abdul Rehman was earlier a captain in the army, but later he joined civil services. There is a quota in civil services for army officers. Under the same, he is now working as an Assistant Commissioner.
UAE President did not attend Munir’s daughter’s wedding
Pakistani journalist told that many retired generals and Chief of Army Staff also attended this wedding. He said, ‘UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan did not attend this high profile wedding, but there were more than 400 guests in this wedding. This program was kept secret due to security reasons. This wedding ceremony was not organized at any hotel or public place, but inside Munir’s residence near the General Headquarters.
