A sensational incident has come to light from Bindapur area of Dwarka district of Delhi, where 62-year-old retired Indian Air Force officer Naresh Kumar was allegedly beaten to death by his own daughter-in-law. According to the police, property dispute is said to be the main reason behind this incident. The accused daughter-in-law has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
According to Delhi Police, a PCR call came from Mansa Ram Park area of Bindapur at around 10:46 am on December 27. The caller told that an elderly man was lying unconscious on the terrace. As soon as the information was received, Bindapur police station reached the spot. There, an elderly man was found unconscious on the terrace, who was identified as Naresh Kumar.
Daughter-in-law informed police about assault with father-in-law
After this, the police immediately took Naresh Kumar to the nearest hospital but the doctors declared him dead. The initial information was given to the police by Geeta, the daughter-in-law of the deceased. He told that his father-in-law was beaten up. After which he was found lying unconscious on the terrace.
Important revelation made in Delhi Police investigation
Seeing the seriousness of the Delhi Police case, the police also called the crime team and the FSL team to the spot. The teams investigated the incident site closely and collected necessary evidence. During the investigation, the police came to know that there was a long-running dispute between Naresh Kumar and his daughter-in-law Geeta regarding distribution of property.
It has been told that Naresh Kumar’s wife had died in the month of August. Whereas Geeta’s husband works in Hyderabad and she mostly stayed alone at home. According to the police, due to frequent fights, Geeta allegedly assaulted her elderly father-in-law, resulting in his death.
Delhi Police arrested the accused daughter-in-law
Delhi Police has registered a case of murder under Section 103(1) of BNS and arrested the accused daughter-in-law Geeta. According to Delhi Police, the entire matter is being investigated from every aspect and further legal action is underway.
