Lifestyle Changes To Prevent Heart Attack: Heart related diseases have become a big concern for the whole world today and India is also not untouched by it. According to the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), the burden of heart diseases is continuously increasing in India and the number of deaths due to it in the year 2020 was estimated between 22.6 lakh to 47.7 lakh. Heart health largely depends on our diet. Although there is no magical food that will completely clear the veins, but by adopting the right diet, the risk of heart diseases can be reduced to a great extent and the heart can be kept healthy for a long time. Let us tell you whether eating right food cleans your blood veins.

How do blood vessels close?

First of all it is important to understand how the blood veins get clogged. This condition is called atherosclerosis or coronary artery disease in medical language. In this, fat and cholesterol start accumulating on the inner walls of the veins, which is called plaque. Gradually these deposited layers narrow the veins, which reduces the blood flow to the heart. This can result in heart attack, stroke and other serious problems. High cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking and poor diet are considered to be its main reasons.

According to the American Heart Association, to keep the heart healthy, the diet should include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, pulses and beans. Along with this, consumption of low-fat or fat-free dairy products, fish, chicken, nuts and non-tropical oils is beneficial. At the same time, it is important to stay away from excess sugar, sweet beverages, highly processed foods, refined carbohydrates, saturated fat and processed meat.

Do blood veins get cleaned by eating healthy food?

The answer is no. Healthy food is important for your health, but it should be kept in mind that it is more important to pay attention not to any one thing, but to the quality of the entire diet. You will have to give up bread, pasta, sugar, flour as well as fruit juice, because they increase the amount of insulin in the body. Due to high insulin levels every day, cracks appear on the walls of the arteries. The easiest way to prevent this is fasting, this gives the body a break so that it can repair the old damage going on inside the body and this cleans the arteries. This is known as autophagy. With this, insulin works better and your hunger and cravings reduce and the risk of heart attack reduces. If you keep a gap of 12 to 14 hours between your dinner and breakfast, then it is better for you. You can start with less time and increase the time further. However, one thing has to be kept in mind that if you have any kind of problem, then fasting should be done only after consulting the doctor.
