US allegations against Maduro
According to the indictment made public on Saturday, apart from Maduro, his wife, his son and three other people have also been charged. Maduro is accused of terrorism conspiracy related to drugs, conspiracy to import cocaine, possession of machine guns and destructive devices. Officials have alleged that the Venezuelan government directly colluded with organizations such as the Sinaloa Cartel and the Tren de Aragua gang.
