Big news has come for parents and students who dream of studying in schools affiliated with Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). Jamia administration has released the complete timetable of school admissions for the academic session 2026-27. This time also the admission process from nursery to class 11 will be completed on different dates. Jamia schools are known across the country for their better studies, discipline and educational environment, hence every year a large number of applications come for admission here.
First of all let’s talk about admission from nursery to class 1. According to Jamia Millia Islamia, the online registration process for these classes will start from January 7, 2026 and will continue till January 27, 2026. Parents whose children are going to start studies in Nursery, KG or Class 1 can apply online by visiting the official website of Jamia, jmi.ac.in. The application fee for this level has been kept at Rs 500.
Admissions from Nursery to Class 1 will be done in Musheer Fatima Nursery School and Syed Abid Hussain Senior Secondary School (Self Finance). Jamia administration has made it clear that all applications will be accepted only through online mode and no application will be accepted after the last date. Therefore, parents have been advised to complete the application process in time.
When will the process for these classes start?
After this comes the matter of admissions from class 6 to class 11. The application process for class 6 to class 11 in Jamia Schools will start from 5 February 2026. The last date to apply for these classes has been fixed as March 5, 2026. During this period, students can apply on the basis of their qualification and previous class. There is special interest among students and parents regarding the studies of middle and senior classes in Jamia schools.
The process for admission in class 11 has been kept slightly different. Students who want to take admission in class 11 in Science, Arts or Commerce stream will be able to apply from 20 February 2026 to 20 March 2026. Class 11 admissions will be held in Jamia Senior Secondary School, Jamia Girls Senior Secondary School (Self Finance) and Syed Abid Hussain Senior Secondary School (Self Finance). The application fee for this class has also been fixed at Rs 500.
