Sri Lanka has announced a 17-member squad for the T20 series against Pakistan. Dasun Shanaka will captain the Sri Lankan team in the T20 series against Pakistan. Earlier, Sri Lanka has announced a preliminary squad of 25 players for the 2026 T20 World Cup. But among them, 8 players have been dropped for the series against Pakistan.

The three-match T20 series between Sri Lanka and Pakistan will start on January 7 and the final match will be played on January 11. To a large extent, it can be said that only these 17 players of Sri Lanka can be included in the final squad of the T20 World Cup.
