A case of attempt to set fire to the party office of Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) has come to light in Kailash Nagar, Ward 16 of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The incident is being reported around 4:30 am on Wednesday (January 7). An unknown person tried to set fire to the pavilion outside the office, but due to the alertness of the people present at the spot, the fire was immediately controlled.
There is no information about any casualty in the incident. A complaint has been lodged at Jinsi Police Station regarding the matter. According to the police, CCTV footage of the incident has come to light, on the basis of which investigation has been started. Police are investigating the identity and motive of the accused.
