South superstar Prabhas’s film ‘The Raja Saab’ is being released in theaters on 9 January 2026. This is a horror-comedy-fantasy film about which there is a lot of buzz. After watching the trailer of the film, ‘The Raja Saab’ was being described on social media as Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. Now the producers and actresses of ‘The Raja Saab’ have reacted to this comparison.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, producer T.G. Vishwaprasad described ‘The Raja Saab’ as a different horror-fantasy film with a different story. He said- ‘We had to create a fictional story about India’s biggest star. Therefore, along with the scene elements, the background story is also quite different.

‘The Raja Saab’ actress Riddhi Kumar also expressed her opinion. He said- ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a great film, I like it very much, but it was very realistic. It was based on a real palace, with real people in it. There’s a psychological aspect to it, as well as a very realistic horror aspect, and the world you enter into is a fantasy world. The whole purpose of fantasy is to create something that has never been created before.
Nidhi Agarwal wants success like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’
Nidhi Agarwal also reacts to the comparison between ‘The Raja Saab’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. She says- However, I hope that our film will also have the same impact as Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

‘The Raja Saab’ was passed by CBFC with U/A 16+ certificate. The total runtime of Prabhas’s film is 189 minutes i.e. 3 hours and 9 minutes. Artists like Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, Nidhi Agarwal, Zarina Wahab and Boman Irani also play important roles in this film.
