Solar Stock: Shares of solar panel manufacturing company Waaree Energies are in the focus of investors because the company is getting orders one after the other and its order book is getting stronger. On Friday, the last trading day of the week, shares of Waari Energies closed at Rs 2,548.
With a market cap of Rs 73,230 crore, shares of Waaree Energies Ltd are working at a PE of 27, while its industry’s PE is 29. This company, which manufactures solar PV modules with a total installed capacity of 24 GW, has many solar module manufacturing plants in the country and abroad.
Details of orders received by the company
Waaree Energies has received a new order for delivery of 105 MW solar modules on January 8, 2026, to be completed within FY26. This new order will help the company further strengthen its position in India’s utility-scale solar ecosystem. There is no involvement of any related party or any interest of the promoters in this contract awarded to the company. The company has not yet disclosed from whom it has received the order.
How was the business in the second quarter?
Mumbai based company Vaari Energy, along with manufacturing solar panels, also provides innovative solar solutions including EPC services, project development and rooftop systems. In the second quarter of FY26, the company’s consolidated net profit was recorded at Rs 842.55 crore with an annual (YoY) increase of 32.97 percent as compared to Rs 361.65 crore in the same quarter last year. In the quarter ending September 30, 2025, revenue from operations increased by 69.69 percent to Rs 6,065.64 crore. The order book of the company is around Rs 47000 crore.
