Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has released important information for lakhs of students preparing for the 10th and 12th board exams to be held in the year 2026. The board has officially released the admit cards for both the classes. Now students can download their admit card through online medium. This admit card is the most important document to appear in the examination, without it no student will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
According to MP Board, the main examinations of 10th and 12th will start from 13 February 2026. In such a situation, the board has issued the admit cards on time so that the students do not face any kind of problem. Students can download their admit card by visiting the official website of MP Board, mpbse.mponline.gov.in. For this they only have to enter their application number.
Both students and parents remain very cautious regarding board exams. For this reason, the board has made it clear that it is important to check all the details given in the admit card carefully. In this the name of the student, roll number, examination centre, subject and time of examination is written. If any kind of mistake is seen, you should immediately contact your school or board office.
The board gave strict instructions
MP Board has also issued strict instructions regarding the timing of the examination. It will be mandatory for all students to reach the examination center by 8 am. Students coming after this will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. Students will have to sit in their assigned seats by 8:30 am. Question papers will be distributed at 8:50 am, while answer sheets will be given at 8:55 am. The examination will start at the scheduled time and under any circumstances, students coming late will not get extra time.
The board has also made it clear that even if for some reason a government holiday is declared on the day of the examination, the examination will still be conducted at its scheduled time. The time or date can be changed only in special circumstances, information about which will be given by the board later.
The board has also given complete information regarding the practical examination. Practical examinations of regular students will be held in their own schools. These examinations will be conducted between 10 February to 10 March 2026. Whereas, for the students who fall in the self-study category, their practical examinations will be held at the examination centers decided by the board. These students will get information about their center and date on time.

The process of downloading the admit card has also been kept quite easy. Students first go to the official website of MP Board. A link related to “MP Board Admit Card 2026” will appear on the homepage, click on it. After this a new page will open to enter the application number. After filling the correct information, click on the submit button. Admit card will open on the screen. Students should download it and take at least two printouts.
