Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Varanasi on Saturday (January 17). During this, Congress protested against Manikarnika Ghat. CM Yogi Adityanath has given a big statement on this. CM Yogi issued a video statement saying that Congress is spreading confusion by making fake AI generated videos which is a crime. The religious sentiments of the people of Sanatan Dharma are being played with.
CM Yogi said that they are spreading false propaganda about demolishing the temple by making AI generated videos. Whereas every person knows that the temple in Mankarnika is still present there. All of them will be part of the conservation of this project, because the ghats will be constructed only after this. Therefore all those temples will be protected by this.

‘Attempts to play with public sentiments’
CM Yogi said that Congress people are continuously making efforts to play with public sentiments. These people are trying to defame this project by spreading all kinds of false propaganda.
Along with this, due to the propaganda work being carried out by them, it was necessary that the Congress and its allies or those who are creating barriers to the development of Kashi, or insulting the heritage of Kashi and the country, should keep in mind that they are committing the ‘sin’ of playing with public sentiments. This cannot be accepted at all.
CM Yogi targeted Congress
CM said how heritage is respected. There is no need to learn from Congress for this. The construction work of the temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya after 500 years, be it Kashi or Ayodhya and all those pilgrimage sites related to the heritage of India, the work of conservation and beautification of the heritage is being completed safely in Uttar Pradesh and the country today under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
‘The cat went for Hajj after eating a hundred rats’
CM Yogi further said that seeing such comments by Congress and its leaders, we laugh and feel pity on them. He further said that this act of his is exactly like, ‘The cat went for Haj after eating a hundred rats’.
He further said that the people who always insulted the heritage have the same mentality today to create obstacles in the development works. CM said that this is not only for Mankarnika but these people will create obstacles in every development program whether it is Kashi or related to the country, state or public welfare.
