Haryana Public Service Commission has issued recruitment notification for the posts of Veterinary Surgeon. A total of 162 posts will be filled under this recruitment. The application process will start from 20 January 2026 and will continue till 19 February 2026. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply through online medium. This recruitment is not only an opportunity for permanent government job, but attractive salary will also be given in it.

Under this recruitment drive issued by HPSC, a total of 162 posts of Veterinary Surgeons will be appointed in the state of Haryana. The candidates selected on these posts will be posted under the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department. This recruitment is being done at the state level, which will greatly benefit the local youth.
Ability
To apply for the posts of Veterinary Surgeon, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized university or institute in India. Along with this, it is mandatory for the candidate to have knowledge of Hindi language, which is considered an essential qualification for the services of Haryana Government.

age limit
The minimum age of the applying candidate has been fixed at 22 years and maximum age has been fixed at 42 years. SC and OBC category candidates of Haryana state will be given relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit as per government rules.
pay scale
Candidates selected for the posts of Veterinary Surgeon will be given salary under Pay Level-10. Candidates appointed to this post will get salary ranging from Rs 53,100 to Rs 67,800 every month. Apart from this, benefits of other allowances will also be given as per government rules.

application fee
The application fee for HPSC Veterinary Surgeon recruitment has been fixed according to the category of the candidates. Male candidates of general category will have to deposit Rs 1000 as registration fee, while for female candidates of general category this fee has been kept at Rs 250. Apart from this, DSC, OSC, BC-A, BC-B and EWS category candidates will also have to pay an application fee of Rs 250. At the same time, disabled candidates have been completely exempted from the application fee.
