Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s escort car collided with an auto rickshaw in Mumbai on Monday evening, injuring at least two people. This terrible accident happened near the actor’s residence in Juhu. However, Akshay Kumar was not present in the car at the time of the accident.
How did the accident happen?
It is being told that this incident happened when Akshay Kumar along with his wife Twinkle Khanna were returning from the airport to their home in Juhu. Meanwhile, a car hit the auto-rickshaw from behind, due to which the rickshaw overturned and collided with the vehicle traveling with Akshay Kumar. The collision was so strong that the actor’s security vehicle overturned on the right side of the road.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police immediately reached the spot and brought the situation under control. In the video going viral, Akshay’s escort car is seen overturned on two tyres, while the front part of the auto-rickshaw is seen badly damaged. The fortunate thing is that no one has been seriously injured.
What did the auto driver’s brother say?
Mohammad Sameer, brother of the auto-rickshaw driver who was injured in the accident, said, “The incident happened between 8 to 8:30 pm. My brother was driving the rickshaw, when Akshay Kumar’s Innova and a Mercedes were coming behind him. The Mercedes hit the Innova, due to which the Innova collided with the rickshaw. As a result, my brother and another passenger got buried under the rickshaw. The entire rickshaw was damaged and my brother’s condition is very critical. Our only request is that my brother should be given proper treatment and the damage caused to the rickshaw should be compensated, we do not want anything else.”
Juhu police has not yet registered an FIR in the matter and has admitted the auto driver to the hospital.
