Big and relief news has come out for lakhs of candidates preparing for teacher recruitment in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has announced the dates of various teacher recruitment examinations. This decision was taken in the important meeting of the Commission held in Prayagraj on Tuesday. The meeting was presided over by Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar. There is enthusiasm among the candidates after the date of these long pending examinations has been fixed.
Assistant professor exam will be held on this date
According to the schedule decided in the meeting, the Assistant Professor Recruitment Examination for the year 2022 will be organized on 18 and 19 April. This examination is being conducted for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor in degree colleges and universities under the Higher Education Department. Candidates were waiting for this recruitment for a long time, hence the announcement of the date is considered a big relief for them.
PGT dates also announced
After this, the spokesperson i.e. PGT recruitment examination will be organized on 9th and 10th May. This examination will be for recruitment to the posts of lecturers in inter colleges under the Secondary Education Department. There was confusion regarding the PGT exam for a long time, which the Commission has now clarified. Whereas Trained Graduate Teacher i.e. TGT recruitment examination will be conducted on 3rd and 4th June. Under TGT, teachers of various subjects are recruited at the high school level and a large number of candidates from all over the state appear in this examination.

Clear picture regarding Tet dates, know when the exam will be held
Apart from this, Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. UP TET will be organized on 2, 3 and 4 July. Passing UP TET is mandatory to become a teacher at primary and upper primary level. Every year lakhs of candidates participate in this examination. It was told by the Commission that all the examinations will be conducted with complete transparency and as per the prescribed rules. Preparation of examination centres, security arrangements and other administrative aspects were also discussed in the meeting. The aim of the Commission is to take the recruitment process forward by conducting examinations on time, so that the shortage of teachers in the schools and colleges of the state can be removed.
