Actually, this whole controversy started over the right to break coconut, in which the MP threatened the MLA by saying ‘Who are you?’ Not only this, the Congress MP also tried to push the BRS MLA. The incident took place on Tuesday in Papad village of Vaddepalli mandal, where the foundation stone laying ceremony for CC road construction works was organized.
Many public representatives including Congress MP Mallu Ravi, BRS MLA Vijayudu and former MLA Sampath Kumar participated in this program. When MP Ravi broke the coconut during the function, soon after that a former Market Committee Chairman of the Mandal also tried to break the coconut.
On this, Alampur MLA Vijayudu raised objection and said that how can a coconut be broken with a person without protocol? On this question of the MLA, MP Mallu Ravi became so enraged that he lost his temper. He shouted at the MLA, “Evda ra tujhe!” Who are you? And attacked them. The workers present at the spot somehow handled the situation, but the entire incident was captured on video.
War of protocol among leaders
After this incident, BRS leaders have fiercely targeted the Congress MP. BRS alleges that since becoming MP, Mallu Ravi has been promoting group politics in the area and is working to spread caste hatred. This whole matter is now becoming a political storm, where instead of development work, a war of ego and protocol is being seen among the leaders.
