He told, long ago when the dominance of darkness, ego and demons had increased in the world, the gods got worried. He asked for help from Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva was in deep meditation on Mount Kailash. Then a divine voice echoed ‘The time has come.’ Mother Parvati said that she will awaken her power in a secret form, so that only true devotees can realize it. Mother hid her form. No drums, no celebrations, no crowd. Worship is done during this period with intense penance, meditation and peace.
Ada further said, ‘Mother acquired the secret knowledge of ten Mahavidyas, which only true seekers can understand. Gradually mother’s power erased the darkness of the world. The demons started becoming weak because they lacked penance and faith. When the work was completed, the Mother said ‘He who seeks me in noise, I find me less, he who seeks me with peace and devotion, I find him completely.’ That is why Gupt Navratri is celebrated. This festival is not a journey outside, but a journey inside, where Shiva and Shakti meet not in noise, but in the soul.
The actress wrote in her post that Gupt Navratri teaches us that true power is not hidden in external glitter, but in a calm mind, devotion and sadhana. In Gupt Navratri, devotees silently chant mantras, meditate and worship. This time is special for Tantra-Mantra Sadhana, spiritual progress and awakening of secret powers.
