A good news has emerged for the youth preparing for jobs in Delhi University. Hansraj College of DU has released the official notification for the recruitment of non-teaching staff. Through this recruitment, the posts lying vacant in the college for a long time will be filled. The special thing is that all these posts are permanent, due to which the selected candidates will also get job security.
According to the information released by Hansraj College, a total of 41 vacant posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. These include non-teaching posts in different departments. The college administration has invited online applications from interested and eligible candidates. The application process has started and candidates can apply till 5 February 2026.
Candidates who want to participate in this recruitment will have to visit the official recruitment portal of the college and apply online. Any kind of offline application will not be accepted. Therefore, candidates have been advised to visit the website on time and complete the application process.
For which posts is the recruitment done?
Many types of posts have been included under this recruitment, so that candidates with different qualifications can get a chance. This includes posts like Administrative Officer, Laboratory Assistant, Junior Assistant, Lab Attendant and Library Attendant.
Who can apply
For the post of Administrative Officer, the candidate must have a master’s degree and at least 55 percent marks are required. For the post of Laboratory Assistant, along with graduation, one should have 2 years of experience in working on scientific equipment. For Junior Assistant, it is necessary for the candidate to be a graduate and also should have knowledge of typing. Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi has been sought.
For the post of Lab Attendant, the candidate must have passed 10th or 12th with Science subject. Besides, skill certificate related to lab has also been sought. Whereas for the post of Library Attendant, it is necessary for the candidate to have passed 12th and have a certificate related to Library Science. It is clear from this that candidates of all levels, 10th, 12th, graduate and post graduate can apply for this recruitment.

Candidates will have to pay the fee while applying. The application fee for unreserved category candidates is Rs 1000. Rs 800 has been fixed for OBC (non-creamy layer), EWS and women candidates. The application fee for SC, ST and disabled candidates has been kept at Rs 600.
How much salary will you get?
Administrative Officer will get a salary of approximately Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500 under Pay Level 10. Whereas, Laboratory Assistant will be placed in pay level 04, Junior Assistant in pay level 02, and Lab Attendant and Library Attendant in pay level 01. Apart from this, other allowances will also be available as per government rules.
